PAST PERFECT



                             PAST PERFECT

Esta forma verbal corresponde, en líneas generales, al pluscuamperfecto de indicativo del castellano. No obstante también en este caso existen diferencias, sobre todo en las oraciones condicionales.
FORMACIÓN DEL PAST PERFECT.
Se forma con el simple past del verbo auxiliar to have ( had) y el participio del verbo que se conjuga.
 ESTRUCTURA DE LA FORMA AFIRMATIVA.
Sujeto + had+ participio del verbo que se conjuga:
I had worked ( Yo había trabajado) / I´d worked
You had worked/ you´d worked
he had worked/ he´d worked

ESTRUCTURA DE LA FORMA NEGATIVA.

Sujeto + had+ not + participio pasado del verbo que se conjuga.
I had not worked / I hadn´t worked
you had not worked / you hadn´t worked
he had not worked / he hadn´t worked.

ESTRUCTURA DE LA FORMA INTERROGATIVA:

had+ sujeto+ participio pasado del verbo que se conjuga.
had I worked?
Yes, you had
No, you hadn’t
had you worked?
had he worked?
 
ESTRUCTURA DE LA FORMA INTERROGATIVA NEGATIVA.

had+ sujeto+ not+ participio pasado del verbo que se conjuga.
 hadn´t  I  worked?
 hadn´t you worked?
 hadn´t he worked?
